Avocado Face Mask for Mothers Day
In celebration of Mothers Day we are sharing our favourite Avocado and Banana Face Mask recipe to nourish Mamma and share with your bubba.
This is an easy natural remedy for depleted skin that will help to regulate oil and best of all add hydration back to postpartum skin. We have also included some optional ingredients to tailor the recipe to the remedies you need most.
And the best part is that this is baby safe to eat... making this a sweet little activity to enjoy with your babe - adding nourishment to their skin too and allowing them to explore some safe sensory play as you let the mask work it's magic!

You will need:
Avocado
Banana
Optional ingredients:
Coconut Oil for ultra dry skin
Oats to soothe irritated skin
Natural Yoghurt for brightening
Lemon Juice for gentle exfoliation
Method:
Simply add your avocado and banana along with your preferred optional ingredients to a blender and combine into a smooth paste. Add filtered water as needed to achieve a smooth (and baby friendly) consistency.
Apply to yours and bubs skin and leave for up to 20 minutes to nourish and hydrate while you play.
Tip - apply in the bathtub for an easy cleanup!
